Car description / Remark:	The US-American 164 3.0 V6 S can be compared with the European 164 3.0 V6 Quadrifoglio Verde. Modified camshafts and a larger air-intake raise the power-output to 197 bhp. Some sources also quote 200 bhp. In contrast to the other US-164s, the 164 S can only be bought with a manual five-speed gearbox. Colour-keyed mirrors, special sill covers and bumpers (with integrated front and rear spoilers) distinguish the 164 S from its more civilian brothers. The standard equipment features ABS, driver’s airbag, leather-wrapped steering wheel, electronic suspension control, stainless steel exhaust system, electrically operated and heated mirrors, metallic paint, automatic air conditioning, cruise control, a “premium sound system”, leather trim, heated front and rear seats and power windows and four-way power adjustable front seats. Six-way power adjustable Reacaro bucket seats, an anti-theft system, a sunroof and front light washers can be ordered as optional extras. All American 164s are sold with a full 3-year warranty (up to 36.000 miles) with 24h roadside assistance. Sheduled maintances are free (up to 36.000 miles or 3 years).
